The story of the life of IPS officer Amit Lodha, who has come into the limelight through webseries, is something like this. There came a time in the life of IPS Amit Lodha, who wiped out many Naxalite gangs, when he became a victim of depression and started thinking about committing suicide. However, he showed courage and kept faith in himself. This very faith of his brought him golden success.
While studying at IIT Delhi, Amit’s morale was starting to wane. His performance in subjects like Mathematics was constantly declining. Due to his poor performance, his friends started distancing themselves from him. Hurt by the mistreatment towards him, Amit slowly started going into depression. Due to this, his performance in studies deteriorated further. But he did not give up. He kept faith in himself. Even after getting E-category in Mathematics, he did not let himself break down.
There is hardly any better example of unwavering faith in oneself than this. While preparing for UPSC, Amit chose the same subject as his main subject due to which he had started thinking about ending his life in IIT. In the UPSC exam, Amit not only scored good marks in Mathematics but also got a good rank, proving that if the intention is strong and there is faith in oneself, then no destination is far.
The chapter of Mahato gang ended
Amit Lodha, known as Super Cop, needs no introduction. He has played a special role in stopping the chapter of crime in Bihar. He completed his studies in 1995 and joined as IPS in 1998. Amit’s career was progressing with bitter-sweet experiences when in 2005 he was sent to the newly formed district Sheikhpura. Where he faced the Mahto gang. With a lot of wisdom and bravery, Amit closed the chapter of this gang. After which he never looked back.
Preparation by making a schedule
IPS Amit did his schooling from St. Xavier’s School, Jaipur. Today he is counted among the senior IPS officers. He says that to crack UPSC, he made a schedule and followed it and got success in the exam.
